πΆπΊπΈ Play for the Vote Comes to Livingston for the FIRST Time! πΊπΈπΆ
This afternoon, a special Election Day event will bring live music to Livingston as part of the national Play for the Vote initiative, which aims to “amplify voter turnout through the power of music.” This event was inspired by Pipa soloist Yang Jin, who introduced the idea to the Livingston Chinese Association (LCA). With LCA’s coordination and the support of Councilman Michael Vieira, the event will take place from 3:00 to 4:30 PM on the grass field near Civic Road, in front of the Gazebo and close to South Livingston Avenue. The ensemble’s performance will create a welcoming atmosphere for voters and encourage community participation.
