FuturePath Academy 向李文斯顿华协捐赠 500 美元
12 月 6 日（周六）下午，李文斯顿华人协会（LCA）收到了一笔意义非凡的社区捐赠——500 美元。这是华协迄今为止收到的最大一笔社区捐赠，更特别的是，这笔善款来自一群由 Claire Gao 带领的高中生，他们共同创立了 FuturePath Academy。
华协会长 何晓珊、副董事长兼学区委员巩芳、华协董事兼秘书长方立炜，华协董事高敏麟、王晓佳出席了捐赠仪式，对高中生们的付出表示由衷的感谢。
FuturePath Academy 启明学苑成立于2023年（前身 Deliberatum Academy）。是一个由高中生自主创建并运营的非营利组织，致力于为低年级孩子提供轻松、有趣、兼具学术与沟通能力培养的课程。课程主题涵盖辩论、数学、英文等，由经验丰富、对所选科目充满热情的高中志愿者亲自授课，深受 2 至 6 年级学生和家长的欢迎。其中，2025 年暑期的一周夏令营尤为火爆，寓教于乐的教学方式让孩子们在轻松氛围中收获成长。FuturePath Academy 计划2026年暑假继续推出学术类夏令营，欢迎8年级以上的学生报名做老师和助教。报名可以点击网站：https://sites.google.com/view/futurepath-academy/home
更令人感动的是，FuturePath Academy 将课程收入回馈社区，曾经捐助过警察局，Livingston Neighbor Helps Neighbor, 这次特别向李文斯顿华协和华夏中文学校进行捐赠。华协对这群高中生的善举深表感谢，我们会珍惜孩子们的心意与努力，将善款用于社区建设与文化发展。
FuturePath Academy Donates $500 to the Livingston Chinese Association
On the afternoon of Saturday, December 6, the Livingston Chinese Association (LCA) received a meaningful community contribution of $500—the largest community donation LCA has received to date. What makes this gift especially noteworthy is that it was raised and donated by a group of high school students led by Claire Gao, co-founders of Future Path Academy.
LCA President Xiaoshan He, Vice Chair and Livingston Board of Education Member Fang Gong, Board Member/Secretary Liwei Fang, and Board Members Minlin Gao, Xiaojia Wang attended the donation ceremony to express their heartfelt appreciation for the students’ generosity and commitment.
Future Path Academy, formerly known as Deliberatum Academy, was founded in 2023. It is a student-founded and student-run nonprofit dedicated to providing younger children with engaging, low-pressure educational experiences that build both academic skills and communication confidence. Their programs—covering subjects such as debate, math, and English—are taught by passionate high school volunteers and have become especially popular among families with children in grades 2 through 6.
Their one-week summer camp in 2025 was particularly well received, offering an enriching, play-based learning environment that allowed children to grow while having fun. They plan to continue offering academic summer camps in the summer of 2026 and welcome students in 8th grade and above to apply as instructors or teaching assistants. What makes this donation even more meaningful is Future Path Academy’s mission of giving back. The organization donates proceeds from its programs to support the community, including contributions to the local police department and Livingston Neighbor Helps Neighbor. This year, they chose to extend their support to the Livingston Chinese Association and Livingston Huaxia Chinese School. LCA is deeply grateful for the students’ kindness, leadership, and dedication. We will honor their intentions by using this donation to further strengthen community programs and cultural initiatives.
